Angolan Safari 2013 (warning: loads of pictures!!!)

Janet visited in August! It was incredible having her here with us again. Nathan organized another safari with Eco Tur Angola. This time we got to travel with Paul who is the owner and incredibly knowledgable. Here's how our day went... 

Stop 1: Lunar View Point
Stop 2: Tarpon Lodge on the Kwanza River, breakfast and a boat ride
Stop 3: Kawa Camp in Kissama National Park, lunch, explore the wild trails
Stop 4: The Compound - Home

We saw.... 
1. Birds: Bee Eaters, Lilac Breasted Rollers, Gray Lowry, Woodland and Pied Kingfishers, Horn Bills, ducks, Fish Eagles, Goliath Herons, Gray Herons, Palm Nut Vultures, Cucado birds, Glossy Starlings, Colored Doves, Drongos, Coucals, Parrots (African Grays), and 2 OSTRICHES!!

2. Mammals: Pigs, Herd of 18 giraffe, Blue Monkeys, Vervet monkeys, 4 elephants with tusks, Bush Bucks, Duiker, Kudu, 30 Wildebeest, Dik Diks

3. Others: 180+ year old baobab, swarm of butterflies, a crab
