Telling B and Papo

We told my folks that Owen is going to be a big brother. B and Papo are super excited! When my mom messaged me later that night, she said she had to double check she was messaging me and not anyone else. :)

Owen is getting really good at saying "Hi Papo" just like when he talks to his Jido. He's got the grampas down... not if we can only get him to say Momma regularly! :)

The Brilliance of iChat

Recently we've been "iChatting" with ChaCha & Jido (Janet & Guy) when we get the opportunity. Owen is becoming more interactive with this way of communication. He loves seeing their faces and getting to talk to them. Of course after a few minutes it's boring and he's back to running around the house spreading toys and books everywhere. But it's a great way to keep in touch since we don't get to visit in-person as often as we'd like.

Tonight was particularly special for several reasons. First, Owen clearly said "Hi Jido!" and waved to Guy. It was so cute! He loves waving and saying HI. Needless to say Janet & Guy LOVED it! They also got to admire his feeting UT pj's. :)

Secondly, we showed them Owen's new shirt. "A shirt?" you say.... yes, a shirt. But not just any shirt.... Owen's FIRST big brother shirt! This little monkey's going to be a big brother! They couldn't believe it! All smiles!

We can't wait to share the new with all the family!

Big Brother Owen

We found out today that Owen will be a big brother! God has blessed us again. The 3 Merys will become 4! I have my first appointment December 2nd. We'll know more then like the due date. From what we can calculate, baby #2 will be mid- to late July 2010.
