Bom Dia! October 5-November 11, 2011
Daddy went to Africa for 5 weeks! Wow that was a long time! We missed Daddy a WHOLE lot. But we got to talk to him almost everyday using FaceTime. It was fun. Daddy is taking a new job in Luanda, Angola so we'll be moving soon. Mommy says we have a ton of things to do before we can move like getting Riley and me a passport. Fun! We have to get some shots that won't be fun but I bet we can get Mommy and Daddy to take us for ice cream afterwards. =)

For the second year in a row Daddy made the ride from Katy to Austin in the BP MS 150 ride. He was a Champion for Rita Joubran, Mommy and Daddy's dear friend. She inspired my daddy to ride because she has MS. Chacha, Mommy, Riley and I went to La Grange to meet Daddy, Jido and Mr. Cash. We had tons of fun celebrating the 1st half of the ride. Daddy crashed and got a booboo but he was ok. Then we went to Chacha's house. Sunday went met Daddy at the finish line! He did awesome! I'm so proud of Daddy and Jido!

China! January 4-10, 2011
Daddy went to China! Mommy said that's all the way on the other side of the Earth... humm.... going to have to ask her about that. He got to ride in a big plane! When he got there he did lots of work stuff but that's boring. Daddy went to the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City, rode the bullet train, and went all over Beijing!

Halloween New Orleans-style October 29-31, 2010
Daddy went to New Orleans for Halloween.... well actually he went to take his clients to the Saints vs Steelers football game. It just so happened to be Halloween. He told me that I'm not allowed to go there without him.... ever! The crazies come ready to party on Bourbon Street during the year, but Halloween brings out a new level of crazy PLUS costumes! His favorite costumes consisted of a group dressed as the characters from The Princess Bride, the Cat in the Hat with best mates Thing 1 Thing 2, and a shmorgus-board of inappropriate nurses, referees, and cops. He wouldn't explain "inappropriate" to me. Said I have to wait. I don't know what that means either.... I'm glad Daddy is home! Mommy is fun, but not as much as Daddy!
April 17-18, 2010
Daddy rode his bike all the way from Katy to Austin! Thankfully Mommy drove me in the car. It's a very long way. Jido rode his bike too. Maybe someday I can ride with Daddy. Mommy says not until I'm bigger. Daddy raised a bunch of money for MS and for our friend Rita. Here are some pictures from the fun weekend!

Daddy said he's going to Africa again, but to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea this time. Since I didn't know where that is, I looked it up online with Mommy's help. Here's a map. Click on it and it'll get larger.

My daddy travels to really cool places all over the world with his job. He was just in Cape Town, South Africa! He got to go on a safari, see a famous local band, eat yummy South African food, and hike Table Mountain!
