Back in Africa

Finally the five Mery's are together in Africa. What a journey! Our sweet Maggie is 4 months old with stamps from Germany and Angola in her passport. I think that's amazing! So what's new other than my baby is a jet setter? 
  • Nathan rocked the work-from-home dad AND stay-at-home dad for 3 weeks. Woohoo!
  • Riley is no longer wearing diapers! A big thank you to the M&M's who inspired her. 
  • Owen is a rock star and growing up faster than I can believe.
  • Maggie flew on her first plane from Austin to Houston.... and then her first international flights... 9 hours and 8 hours. She also barfed in the Frankfurt airport. (God bless my kids... all 3 inherited my flimsy stomach.)
Maggie and I are getting adjusted to the time difference. Another few days and we should be all sorted as each day is a bit better. I couldn't be happier to be back with Owen and Riley! This was the first time we've been separated for so long. Happy days of togetherness!

    Are you guys still in Luanda? My husband and I have just moved here (about 3 weeks ago) and would love to meet some folk. Sounds like you have your hands full with little ones - very cute kids! - but if you do have time to meet somewhere one day, that would be great.
